A.Paints Paints mainly use petroleum resins, DCPD resins and C5/C9
copolymerized resins with high softening points,petroleum resins
. Petroleum resins can increase the final finishes of paints,the
adhesiveness. Of paints films and the hardness,resistane to acid
alkaline. B.Rubbers C5
petroleum resins,C5/C9 copolymerized resins and DCPD resins
with low softening points are mainly used with rubbers which kinds
have good mutual solubilities with rubber particles, no influence
on the sulferization of rubber.Rubbers added with petroleum resins
will increase the strenth, adhesioveness and softening characters.
C.Adhesives
Petroleum resins itself have very good adhesiveness,they can
strenthen the adhesiveness of adhesives,resistance to acid, alkaline
and water, they will reduce the production cost.
D.Printing inks.
Usually, the C9
petroleum resins and DCPD petroleum resins which have high softening
points are used for printing inks, they have color- spreading ,fast-dry
and brightening effects and will increase the printing property.
E.Others
Petroleum resins have a cetain unsaturation property and can be
used as paper glutting agents, plastic modifiers etc.
